2018 | Changsha (CN)Beautiful Hunan: Flying Theater Attraction
In October 2018, Beautiful Hunan, a new, state-of-the-art flying theater attraction was opened in Changsha, China. The flying theater is a turnkey attraction delivered to the Macrolink Group as part of the Tongguan Kiln International Cultural and Tourism Center by Canadian ride manufacturer and attraction designer CAVU Designwerks. Kraftwerk Living Technologies was commissioned to deliver the high-quality AV solutions and show control for the attraction and was also responsible for the screen installation.
The Beautiful Hunan flying theater allows guests to visit the most beautiful locations in the Hunan province as part of a six-minute experience. The high-resolution visuals are paired with smooth, realistic motion and several special effects, supporting the flight feeling and highly immersive experience. The spectacular media was produced by PRANA Studios and weaves great live action flying imagery with very active visual effects sequences.
The Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town portrays the 1,200-year heritage of Changsha city in Hunan Province, known for its porcelain craftsmanship from the Tang Dynasty – all brought together in a cultural complex with a total construction area of 1.1 million m2. The Town features eight museums, five performing centers, three luxury hotels and 18 cultural attractions. The Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town is expected to host more than 5 million tourists each year.
