In late 2014, Kraftwerk Living Technologies was contracted by Kingsmen International Group as project partner of the IT EXHIBITS for Saudi Aramco’s The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, including the technical planning and installation thereof. Ranging from a large scale and interactive LED installation (the “Welcome Wall”), which welcomes visitors to the exhibitions and events, to interactive exhibits within the enormous Library featuring displays and media stations to the so-called “Keystone”, the central structure of the cultural center, which invites to an interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge with state-of-the-art technology – the IT EXHIBITS provide a multi-media network as well as a virtual stream of knowledge, entertainment, information and the motive to engage it’s visitors.
The installed equipment and systems have been tailored to fit the intended immersion of the visitors. Ranging from LED and LCD solutions, touch displays and monitors to tracking and high-quality projection systems with projection mapping, audio solutions, control systems and much more, the IT EXHIBITS try to bridge the gap between Saudi Arabia’s past, present and future. General planning of the exhibit was done by Stuttgart creative architect firm ATELIER BRÜCKNER, while ART+COM provided the media design and planning.
