For various Costa cruise ships, Kraftwerk Living Technologies has installed state-of-the-art 4D theaters, in order to make the cruising experience even more unforgettable for its passengers. The first 4D theater for Costa Cruises was implemented in 2009 on the “Costa Luminosa”. The most recent project completed was a theater built for the “Costa Diadema”, the flagship of the Costa cruise fleet.
Like all 4D/5D theaters designed and installed by Kraftwerk Living Technologies, these theaters provide high-tech cinema technology including 3D HD projection, professional audio system, a reliable and nearly maintenance-free pneumatic motion base, as well as a state-of-the-art HD3D server featuring a movie licensing system for secured film files. The high-quality 4D seats feature 3 “Dimensions of Freedom” (DOF) real analog movement and many special effects including water spray, face blast, vibration, leg ticklers, neck blast, wind effects, and effect lighting.
