The “The House of Dancing Water” show at the City of Dreams resort in Macau is an extravagant, unique spectacle, unlike any other in the world. The epic love story – performed by 80 different artists – is surrounded by fantastic scenery and incorporates the perfect interaction between flexible stage elements and innovative projection technology.
The realization of the spherical projection was carried out by Kraftwerk Living Technologies. For the atmospheric projection, KLT implemented several high-resolution DML 1200 moving head projectors, each of them featuring 12,000 ANSI lumens. The stage background projection was achieved by implementing 4 Barco FLM HD 20 projectors with 20,000 ANSI lumens, all of them in portrait mode in order to enable a powerful, large-scale, seamless projection. The vital video content server operates with a virtual 3D model of the stage: the constantly varying projection surfaces are stored on this special server and can be retrieved live on demand by the light console. These projectors are utilized for the main stage floor, for different scenic elements and water fountains, as well as for the 360° projections of the audience area.
