2010 | Almaty (KZ)Royal Tulip Grand Ballroom
Royal Tulip Almaty is a five‑star deluxe hotel that opened its doors in 2010. In order to provide a state-of-the-art event location for Kazakhstan, Royal Tulip Hotel decided to build the “Grand Ballroom” on an adjacent plot. With a floor area of 3,000 m2 the “Grand Ballroom” is one of the largest event locations in Kazakhstan and is, in any case, Kazakhstan’s most modern location in terms of technical equipment.
Kraftwerk Living Technologies was responsible for the detailed planning and implementation of the entire AV technology implemented, including a number of LED walls. The LED wall on the main stage is a gigantic 75 m2 (11.5 x 6.5 m) and is automatically divisible in two equal parts. The required mechanism was developed and implemented by Kraftwerk Living Technologies. In addition to the main LED wall, the “Grand Ballroom” features another 6 LED walls (4 x 2.3 m each) as well as a 6.5 x 3.7 m LED wall in the foyer.
Kraftwerk Living Technologies also created a stunning lighting concept – room lighting and stage lighting – including, for example, 54 moving-head spotlights as well as a state-of-the-art audio system, both using the most modern control devices.
In December 2012, Royal Tulip’s “Grand Ballroom” was introduced to the public. It will certainly host many stunning events in the future.
