Located at The Island in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, SkyFly: Soar America is a 39-seat flying theater attraction that opened in July 2021. Voted USA Today’s “Best New Attraction of 2021,” SkyFly offers guests an immersive, cinematic journey over some of America’s most iconic landscapes, including breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, and more.
In close collaboration with Dynamic Attractions, the primary ride manufacturer, Kraftwerk Living Technologies delivered a comprehensive suite of audiovisual systems and show control across all areas of the stand-alone attraction, including the entry queue, pre-show, and main theater. Additionally, the seamless integration of a 200-square-meter spherical screen and projection system further enhances the visual immersion of the flying theater.
The distinctive steampunk setting of the attraction and the rich storytelling elements amplify this blend of advanced technology, special effects, and creative design, providing an unforgettable themed experience. The attraction, nestled in the Smoky Mountains, perfectly complements KLT’s expanding portfolio of high-end flying theater installations and contributions worldwide.
