Austrian audiovisual system integrator Kraftwerk Living Technologies honored with Inavation Award for unique theater attraction in Changsha, CN at industry-celebrating awards gala as part of the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam.

Kraftwerk Living Technologies, globally operating expert in comprehensive, customized audiovisual solutions with branches in Russia, China and South Africa, was honored with the worldwide recognized Inavation Award in the category “Leisure & Entertainment Facility” early February. The prize-winning project is a multisensory attraction for 800 guests with an immersive 360° dome screen and a stunning 3D film production, supported by exciting special effects as well as precise motion of the SFX Motion Seats developed by Kraftwerk LT, and was also the largest contract in the Austrian’s company history so far.

As part of the project scope, the audiovisual experts, who were design-build vendor of the entire venue, accounted responsible for the technical design, detailed planning, supply, integration, programming and commissioning of the unique theater as well as the attraction design together with LSK Hongkong and the 3D film production with partner Prana Studios Los Angeles.
“What is special about this theater project is the seamless integration of the main theme – porcelain craftsmanship – into the 1.1 km2 cultural center. When entering the theater, you walk into the interior of a flaming oven – realized with scenic lighting, complex projection technology, special effects as well as 1,600 audio speakers for acoustic support. With this ‘flaming’ atmosphere, the stage is set for an unforgettable experience”, explains Manfred Meier, Managing Partner and CEO at Kraftwerk LT.
About the Inavation Awards
The Inavation Awards are the benchmark for system integrators, consultants and technology managers throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and beyond. These annual awards recognize and celebrate outstanding AV design, integration and management globally focusing on projects, products and people. Once again this year, the coveted awards powered by Inavate Magazine were hosted as part of the ISE, the largest exhibition for professional AV system integration in Europe on February 11th. A total of 300 projects were entered, narrowed down to 81 finalists and ultimately leaving 12 entries to be honored as winners in the project categories on the awards night – Kraftwerk LT’s Magic Glaze being one of them.

Following awards for the 5D Castle Theater at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in 2016, the BMW Welt in 2017 and the National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey on Times Square in New York last year, this is the fourth Inavation Award Kraftwerk LT was able to win with its major projects and the second award for Magic Glaze 5D after receiving the Asia Attractions Golden Crown Awards in December 2019.
