2020 | Bali (ID)Flying Over Indonesia: Flying Theater Attraction
On December 12, 2019, Trans Studio Bali, a new indoor theme park opened its doors to the public in Denpasar, the capital of the Indonesian island Bali. One of the highlights of the park is the “Flying Over Indonesia” experience, a cutting-edge flying theater attraction provided by Super 78, taking guests on a stunning aerial adventure. In the 7 minutes-long film, hot spots such as Borneo, Lake Toba, the Bali Coast, Jakarta, Kuin River and the Komodo islands are visited, even featuring an underwater sequence, which is quite unique for a flying theater.
High-resolution footage of the picture-perfect landscapes and for the exhilarating story was captured from helicopters and drones, using 8k digital cameras. What’s more, guests are active participants as hang-gliding passengers, taking their seats in the state-of-the-art ride system of Dynamic Attractions.
On behalf of Dynamic Attractions, Kraftwerk Living Technologies was responsible for the audiovisual system including the installation of the spherical dome-shaped screen, the high-quality projection system featuring multiple 4K Christie projectors, as well as the state-of-the-art audio system. In addition, Kraftwerk Living Technologies was also responsible for video playback, the show control system, as well as the special effects integrated into the ride system – all supporting the breathtaking visuals and impressions of the country and leading to an unforgettable experience.
